Products

The main application of Heat Insulated Tubings is:

  • to prevent continuous permafrost from defrosting near wellbore zones and to prevent bridgeover during well operations,
  • to prevent walls of Heat Insulated Tubings from wax precipitation during oil production,
  • to keep formation fluid temperature,
  • to prevent gas hydration during gas production,
  • to inject steam during viscous oil recovery,
  • to provide ecological balance during oil and gas production in the offshore wells,
  • to prevent casing collapse due to depressurize in the isolated interstices of the annulus in the offshore wells.

  1. The sizes according to GOST 632 and GOST 633 are indicated in brackets.
  2. Heat insulated tubings are manufactured from pipes grades according to GOST 632, GOST 633, GOST R 53366, API 5CT.
  3. Heat insulated tubings are manufactured with gas-proof threaded joints.
  4. Heat insulated tubings are manufactured in cold resistant version and standard version.
  5. * Optionally we can manufacture tubings of others grades.

Industrial equipment

The equipment used in the production of the tubings is up-to-date and specially chosen and bought to each processing step.

Oilwell Thermotechnology facility consists of the following equipment:

  • milling machine;
  • pipe threading machine;
  • hydro pneumo abrasive bore cleaning machine;
  • hydro pneumo abrasive external tubing area cleaning machine;
  • welding unit;
  • induction unit;
  • resistor furnace;
  • exhaust cart with 3 stages of pumping;
  • coupling machine with makeup torque registration;
  • heat test unit;
  • hydraulic pressure test unit;
  • paint booth.

Makeup torques, heat and hydraulic tests data are recorded in electronic format.

Product tests

The company has its own accredited laboratory for destructive and non-destructive tests. All products undergo tests confirming their quality. All tubing quality tests were additionally conducted in GazpromVNIIGAZ.

Field tests of Heat insulated tubings were conducted at Bovanenkovo OGKF Gazprom dobycha Nadym. Positive tests results let our company to become an approved Heat insulated tubings supplier of Gazprom.

The company has received the following utility patents:

  1. Heat insulated tubings with vacuum insulation (№123822), (№152072),
  2. Air lock (chamber) to restore vacuum and install plugs (№142969),
  3. Gas-tight screw joints of OCTG (№134279).

Specification

Heat insulated tubings are double-walled tubings with vacuum insulation and insulation without vacuum between walls. They are manufactured in cold resistant and standard versions.

Heat Insulated Tubings are manufactured in the following versions:

  1. Version 1 – Heat insulated tubings with vacuum insulation. Operating temperature is from – 60° C till + 100°C.
  2. Version 2 – Heat insulated tubings with vacuum insulation. Operating temperature is from – 60° C till + 210°C.
  3. Version 3 – Heat insulated tubings with vacuum insulation. Operating temperature is from – 60° C till + 356°C.
  4. Version 4 – Heat insulated tubings with insulation without vacuum. The insulation is based on nonorganic roll materials. Operating temperature is from – 60° C till + 100°C.
  5. Version 5 – Heat insulated tubings with insulation without vacuum. The insulation is based on nonorganic roll materials. Operating temperature is from – 60° C till + 210°C.
  6. Version 6 – Heat insulated tubings with insulation without vacuum. The insulation is based on gas-expanded plastics. Operating temperature is from – 50° C till + 110°C.

At customer`s option:

  • Heat insulated tubings versions 1, 2, 3 can be supplied with pressure indicating transmitters (PIT),
  • Heat insulated tubings versions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 can be supplied with external centralizers (EC),
  • Heat insulated tubings versions 2, 3 can be supplied with expansion joints (EJ).

Heat insulated tubings can be manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel and used in all types of macroclimatic areas according to GOST 16350.

Design features

The design feature of Heat insulated tubings is a possibility to control and restore vacuum in a tubular annulus. To compensate heat expansion of the inner tube it is possible to install expansion joints in order to inject the steam which allows to unload welded seams from severe load and thus increasing the operating life of a Heat insulating tubing by several times.
